Decision to Part Ways with Sign Making
As life continues to evolve, I parted ways with my last custom sign the other night in order to free up more time for family, floral design, and whatever else interests me in the future.
The saying that was requested for this sign allowed for me to reflect a bit on my own journey.
In the past two years I have not only gained knowledge in the art of sign creation but also in how to run the back end of a business.
Registering a business, tax ID, domain name, seo, shipping, invoicing, QuickBooks, reconciliation, email organization, email newsletter, social media marketing, networking, style of photography, and so much more.
All of these tasks were researched and experimented with by trial and error. And trust me, there were plenty of learning moments along the way.
I also saw each new hurdle that I encountered as a project. Something new to learn more about and to see how I could apply it to what I had been working on at the time.
So as this sign reads:
"Nobody said it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it."
And I couldn't agree more.
