Basil, oregano, parsley, mint, cilantro, rosemary, and chives. Our meals have been extra flavorful lately thanks to these little guys. My husband built a vertical garden box last summer specifically for the herbs and it quickly became one of my favorite features to our backyard.
Cilantro for nachos, basil for spaghetti, chives for potatoes, and even mint for mojitos. You name a dish, and I am sure we will find a way to throw in some herbs.
Best part about having an herb garden? There is far less sodium and processed food being added to our meals without sacrificing the flavor. AND our food looks prettier with all that green sprinkled throughout. Who doesn't like eating visually pleasing food in front of them? I know I do.
